Steve Osborn was awarded the Engineer of the Year and the Project of the Year was the Georgia Street Improvements in Downtown Indianapolis, awarded at the 2012 Annual Meeting. Dave Warder, P.E., is the 2010 Civil Engineer of the Year. The 2010 Indiana Civil Engineering Project of the Year has been announced also.

Peck Award. The award was presented at GeoFrontiers 2011 in Dallas, Texas on March 14, 2011 Kumares C. Sinha, Ph.D., P.E., Hon.M.ASCE, NAE, a member of the Indiana Section’s Central Branch, has been selected to receive the James Laurie Prize. The award was presented at the T&DI Congress in Chicago, Illinois on March 15, 2011. W. Jason Weiss, P.E., A.M.ASCE, a member of the Indiana Section’s Central Branch, has been selected to receive the Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize. The award will be presented at the EMI Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, June 2- 4, 2011. Wilfred L. Painter, Jr., P.E., F.ASCE, a member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Branch, has been selected to receive the Construction Management Award. The award will be presented at the ASCE Annual Conference Leadership Luncheon in Memphis Tennessee, October 20-22, 2011.
